Lesbian Home Movie Project doesn’t charge film donors & makers for digitizing, documenting, and preserving the work they bring in. When we can, we make it possible to see the work at no charge as well. That’s because we think getting that work done — saving the footage, making sense of it, integrating its messages into what our many worlds understand about lgbtqi history — is too important to conceal behind a financial barrier. But it is expensive to do what we do. If you have extra money, time, or expertise, give us a call or fill in this form & send it off, or make out a check to our fiscal sponsor, Resources for Social Change (ROSC), earmark it for LHMP, and put it in the mail to LHMP, POB 308, Orland, ME 04472
And if you have footage or know something about the footage you’ve seen or learned about on this site, get in touch as soon as you can. Film & tape deteriorate with time & use. So do memories. Let us put them in a safe place.
